About Us
The ALGARVIAN Golf Society THAT IS SUBTLY differenT !!!
A really warm welcome to The Phantoms Golf Society!
We have recently formed in 2023 and comprise of a group of like-minded individuals, who not only enjoy playing golf in accordance with the current Royal and Ancient rules, but who also enjoy the social friendship and the support that comes with being a member of a friendly society by association.
Whether you are a low or a high handicapper, we are a group that enjoys each other’s company. We place a strong emphasis on friendly fun, rivalry, respect in our competitions, and support and laughter when we are together at the 19th, or at one of our social gatherings where our partners/spouses are often included.
The Golf Society TO ENJOY WHATEVER YOUR EXPERIENCE !!
We play most but not all of our games at Benamor near Tavira , where many members of the society are also members of the course, but we also organise away days at other courses in the Algarve and Spain. Based in and around Loule, Sao Bras de Alportel and Tavira in the Algarve, we aim to support local charities and to be a positive public-spirited association.
